Timing is everything

Monsters as far back as we can remember.

I look for validation in coincidence as much as the next person. Little sparks from the universe telling you that you are on the right track. I was very hesitant about sharing artwork in any other form of media. It took someone I highly respected to push me into being comfortable with showing another side of me. I forget how much I rely on the talents of my bandmates to maintain. This time at home has been rewarding albeit humbling.

I wasn’t expecting the response I have gotten and am thrilled to have this opportunity to better myself and be productive while also being able to give the fans something one of a kind. This is truly an exciting endeavor that I hope paves many new roads for the future. This validation came this morning when my mother sent me these random drawings I did when I was probably 6 or 7ish… Maybe even younger. She found them in a pile of stuff that my grandmother had hung onto. I was especially stunned to see the bat. A smile brought on from a reassuring world… that is one beautiful, tangible thing.
