Caught in the rain

I was on my Motorcycle today when a black cloud formed on the horizon. I had to pull over multiple times in order to dry my glasses and wait for the rain to stop intermittently. Sometimes you just have to pull over and wait. We don’t do that enough these days. We trudge through, no matter how exhausting. I found it quite nice to just sit underneath an overpass and wait it out. Read a bit of my books, smoked a cigarette and that was that. We need to be careful with our time, mor importantly we need to slow down and watch the rain every once in a while.
